![]() With Starfield being the center of the Xbox 2023 Showcase last week, Bethesda gave us a deep dive into one of the biggest games this generation. When directions (e.g., north) are used, they're assuming the following: ![]() This guide picks up where the first battle tutorial, mentioned therein, leaves off. It explains what to do in the very first area-your home village-and how to get started on the right foot. If you haven't already, it's recommended that you look over the "Basics" area of this walkthrough first. Thus, even if you start your adventure alone, you can have others join in at any point you'd like. Additionally, you can switch from single- to multi-player whenever you visit a large, purple Save Crystal. If you ultimately decide to play it alongside your friends, or in conjunction with the similarly titled Nintendo DS companion release (for which this guide is also valid), this will still be an effective primer. Mine: Boss / Fire and Ice Mountains Revisited / Gate: End Boss 1 / Final BossĪlthough Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time may be best enjoyed as a multi-player experience, our guide is aimed toward the single home user. Library: Part Three: Boss / Forest: Part Threeįorest: Part Four: Boss / Ruined Village / Town: Part Six / Graveyard Library: Part Two: Boss / Village: Part Five / Ruins but i leave you with this, this can be a simple yet addicting game for you and your friends to play or it can be annoying and frustrating if you have little patience.Village: Part Two / Town: Part One / Library: Part OneĪqueducts: Boss / Town: Part Two / Village: Part Three / Town: Part Threeįire Mountain: Boss / Town: Part Five / Village: Part Four if they implemented a screen in screen feature where once screen would take up the whole tv and the other would be a small box in the corner this would be soo much better. they limit you to the max size of one screen to where i would say they leave about 30% of ur screen above and below the screen that is just basically blank space. they are placed in the center of your screen side by side and you can control the size of them to an extent, such as having one really small and the other larger to see better. being that this is also a Nintendo DS game and they have 2 screens, you also have 2 screens to work with. oh, i almost forgot the worse part of the game, once you get used to this its not so bad, but when you 1st turn this game on WTF is going to come to mind, at least it did for my friends and I. they definitely could have put alot more time in this to make it much more of a smooth experience. all in all id say the game is pretty average. I am only going to play through the story once, as it is not really a game you would replay alot, though after u beat the game you can fight the bosses again that you faced in the game which i find fun to do with friends. but i dont want to sound like im bashing the game because i did find it enjoyable for me and a couple of my friends to play. you can play by yourself and use bots as allies but you will soon notice that they seem to have little brain and get in the way more than help, such as moving objects out of the way you placed for a switch and what not. that is why i recommend playing with friends because this speeds up puzzle solving and execution by a vast amount. there are quite alot of tedious puzzles in this that you will prob. Now the storyline is decent, i won't get into, if you want to know the story just look up a faq for it. to use your magic you press the c button which brings up a targeting crosshair which you mosey on over to the enemy you want to cast it on, which in turn leaves you open for attacks, but still is manageable just be back from the enemy a ways. its a pretty simple hack and slash sort of game, no complex combos to do or dual buttons to be pressed for special moves.basically spam the attack button or use your magic, which is, in my opinion not set up well. Anyways here is a rough overview of how the game works. When i played with my 2 friends i noticed little lag in the game. You can play with random people over the internet but you will find that lag becomes quite an annoying issue. This is definitely a game that is alot better to play with friends that without.
